Officials in Tasmania are attempting to pinpoint a pink slime that has surfaced on a isolated coast, with a number of researchers concerned it could be an algae outbreak.

Widespread Presence On Beaches

The magenta-hued slime materialized across a portion of a coastal area about 60 kilometers south of the city. A comparable ooze has also been noted on parts of Little Roaring Beach and Little Taylors Bay.
